From your first photos to the finished room.

Five steps, from first light to lamp light.

Scroll through them: the picture beside each step changes as you reach it.

The five steps

  1. A living room photographed in daylight, as a client might send it. About the room
    • How you use it
    • What you want to keep
    • Your budget
    A photo by daylight

    Questionnaire and photos

A short questionnaire about the room and how you use it, with your photos and measurements. Daylight photos help, and so does one taken in the evening.

  2. Three paint samples beside a window, talked through on a call. Video call30 minutes, about one room Sage, warm white or clay pink?
Illustration: not Laura's work or a client's home. Example: fictional.

    The call

The free discovery call first, to see what suits. For a Colour Plan, a 30-minute video call about the room follows, from your photos.

  3. A styling board of fabrics, paint colours and finishes laid flat. Room Board
    • Mood board
    • Layout sketch
    • Shopping list

    The board or the visit

By video: your written palette, or your Room Board with its mood board, layout sketch and shopping list. In person: Laura in the room with you.

A Colour Plan within 3 working days of the call; a Room Board within 10 working days of a complete brief

  4. The same board, with one change noted on it. One changeSwap the blue for ochre Talked through on the walkthrough call

    Changes

A Room Board includes one round of changes, and a 30-minute walkthrough call to talk it all through.

    Changes within 5 working days

  5. The living room finished: the sofa with new cushions, a larger rug, a reading corner by the window. The pieces you chose, in place
Illustration: not Laura's work or a client's home.

    The finished room

You buy the pieces you choose, at the shop's price, and carry out the plan. With Room, Done, Laura comes back for a half-day of styling once the pieces arrive.
